How it works The wind blows differently at every height: a light breeze near the ground, a strong westerly further up, maybe a headwind above that. Hold the burner to climb, open the valve to sink, and find the layer of air that carries you to the target. The burner reacts with a delay and the balloon keeps rising for a moment – plan ahead. Target drops and soft landings Just like in real balloon competitions, you drop markers onto target crosses on the ground. Every metre counts. At the end of every balloon flight you land in the landing field – the softer, the more points. 40 handcrafted flights River meadows, lake district, rolling hills and a castle valley: chase a fox balloon, nail precision landings in narrow fields, stay clear of power lines, lakes and forests. Pilot balloons and chimney smoke reveal the wind. Each flight earns up to three stars. Daily flight and duels Every day brings a new daily flight with the same winds for everyone, plus leaderboards for today and all time.
