Vending Route: Inventory & DEX

Vending Route is vending machine inventory and route software for independent operators. It tells you which machines need a visit, what to load for each one, and what every selection sold, so you stop driving to machines that are still full and stop running out of the snacks that sell. KNOW WHAT EVERY MACHINE NEEDS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE WAREHOUSE • Today's vending route in order, with each machine's fill level, days until it needs a visit and why it is worth the stop: low stock, about to run empty, cash box at its cap, or a dead selection. • Vending machines that are still full stay off today's stops, so the vending route only goes where stock is low. • Cash on the street and items to load today, at the top of the screen. PICK LISTS AND PRE-KITTING • Tomorrow's pick list for a route, by product with whole cases, or by machine. • Tick vending products off by tapping or by scanning the barcode with the camera or any Bluetooth scanner in keyboard mode. • Mark the kit loaded and the units come out of warehouse stock. THE VISIT, VENDING MACHINE BY VENDING MACHINE • Each selection's pick-list quantity is filled in. Count what you found, added and pulled, with a reason: expired, damaged, not selling, recall. • Add the vending machine's DEX file and sold-since-last-visit is filled in for every selection, with the cash the machine says went to the box beside what you counted. • Works with no signal: a basement break room still gets counted and uploads later. • Skip a stop with a reason your operator will see. DEX, NAYAX AND YOUR OTHER SYSTEMS • DEX (EVA-DTS) audit files are read, checksum and all, and matched to the machine by its serial. • Nayax: connect your Lynx token on the web and Vending Route reads machine inventory and sales every hour. • An API: a DEX handheld, a dongle's app or your own script can post DEX files and counts with a token you make and can revoke. • Cantaloupe Seed, VendMAX and PayRange have no public API, so Vending Route imports their inventory exports. Product and machine lists import from any spreadsheet. • Every machine shows where its numbers came from: DEX, Nayax, an import, a count, or an estimate. COMMISSION STATEMENTS, WORKED OUT FOR YOU • Enter each location's agreement once: percent of gross, before tax or net of card fees, tiers, flat amount, minimum, monthly or quarterly. • The statement comes from the machines' own sales, with a PDF and a payments ledger. A machine with no reading after the month holds its statement and says which reading is missing. THE NUMBERS THAT SAVE A TRUCK • Days to empty for every machine and every selection, from DEX sales, telemetry or your own counts. • Par suggestions that cover your visit cadence with a margin, never more than the coil holds. • Dead selections: nothing sold in 21 days, so you can swap the product. • Spoilage: items past their shelf life, first in, first out, micro market fresh food included. • Sell-through by product across every machine, margins, sales by day and cash variance against the DEX cash box.
