Alongside these tunes, the Southern Lý songs have existed and developed for hundreds of years, becoming part of the residents' lives when they first started cultivating the new land in the South. According to many folk literature researchers, these Lý songs reflect an optimistic spirit in life, helping people overcome all hardships, face difficulties, always love life, love nature, and cherish everything around us. They have been present since our ancestors in the North migrated to develop the land in the South.
