Barello: Wine Cellar & Bar

Barello is a home cellar and bar app that tells you what to open tonight, what to keep, and what you can mix from what you have. Twenty bottles in the house and no idea what to drink tonight? Barello keeps your wine, spirits and cocktails in one place the whole house shares. WHAT IT DOES • Tonight. It picks the one bottle in the house most ready to drink. You see its price, and where that price came from, when there is one. Two more wait underneath if you're not in the mood for that one. • When to drink each wine, based on where you keep it. Kept in a cupboard, not a cellar? Wine ages faster somewhere warm, roughly twice as fast for every 10°C (18°F) warmer. Tell Barello where each bottle lives and it redraws the dates to match. • Your home bar. It checks every cocktail recipe against your shelf and shows what you can pour right now. It also shows what you're one bottle short of, and the next bottle to buy for the most new drinks. • Wine pairing. Say what's on the table, from a cheese board to a curry, and it answers with the wine and the cocktail that go with it. • Tasted. Your wine journal keeps every wine you've rated, grouped by grape, style and country. That makes the next bottle a better bet. Kept a history in another wine app? Send us the export and we'll bring it across. THE CELLAR Wine, spirits and beer in one list, with the bottle that most needs opening at the top. Filter by price, from a Tuesday bottle to a birthday one. Search finds anything on the label. Adding a bottle takes seconds. Point the camera at the label and Barello reads the producer, the wine and the year. You check it, tap save, done. Or type it in, whichever is quicker. The cocktail library covers the classics and a set of mocktails. Each one gives you the ingredients, the method step by step and the right glass. You don't need to be a bartender. ONE CELLAR, BOTH OF YOU Your partner sees the same bottles, so nobody opens the birthday wine on a Tuesday. You'll each see the other's ratings, so you know when you both loved one. The drinking dates follow the room your wine lives in, whether that's a Melbourne cupboard or a Chicago basement. WHERE THE ANSWERS COME FROM Drinking dates come from how each grape and style ages, and every price shows where it came from. DOES IT TRACK HOW MUCH I DRINK? No. It tracks what's in your house, not what goes down the sink. Logging a pour is optional; it's there so the cellar stays right. PRIVATE Only your household can see your cellar list, and it's stored on servers in Sydney, Australia. No ads, no selling data. Share a label photo straight into Barello. In your photos app, tap Share, then Barello, and it reads the label for you. Alerts now show up as Barello notifications. Turn them on in Barello's Settings, under Notifications, to hear when a wine's due to be opened. You'll now need Android 7 or later.
