Result history and thumbnails stay on your device and can be erased from the app. Analysis requires an internet connection. Your selected photos are sent through the Moruk gateway for remote processing, so the image leaves your device during analysis. Results are educational estimates, not expert verification. They can be incomplete or incorrect and do not determine whether an insect is dangerous, venomous, invasive, a pest, or safe to handle. Never touch, move, eat, or approach an insect based only on an app result. Use appropriate local guidance or a qualified expert when identification or safety matters. Insect Identifier is free to use with ads. There is no account, active subscription, paywall, or paid tier.
