A brick breaker with a forge. Fire a volley of forty orbs, watch them trail ember across the board, and break every brick before your volleys run out. Every brick can drop a rune. Each rolls its own powers: burning bricks, chain sparks, ember blasts, splitting orbs, piercing shots, frostbite, extra orbs. Socket four into your launcher and build the volley you want. Runes only drop from play; nothing you buy changes what drops. THE ANVIL Fuse three runes into one of the next heat and keep the powers you love. Re-roll a power you do not. Temper an old favourite up to your current level. Melt the rest down into embers. FIVE BOSSES WITH REAL MECHANICS The Bellows heats every brick back up. The Tide Warden's shell soaks your first hits. The Glass Matriarch shatters into shards. Clockheart rewinds time. The Fallen Star drops the whole board on you. THE DESCENT An endless shaft where the rows keep falling.
