Home Assistant: voice with 4Dictate, keyboard shortcuts & gestures with 4Zones.
4Home works your own Home Assistant from your phone. Pick the devices you want, and 4Home shows each one with what it can do: tap "on", "off", "up", "down" or a scene, and it happens.
YOUR HOME ASSISTANT, NOTHING ELSE
• 4Home talks only to the Home Assistant address you enter. Nothing is sent to us.
• No account with us, no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking.
• Your access token is encrypted on the phone and is never put in a backup file.
WHAT EACH DEVICE CAN DO, FROM HOME ASSISTANT ITSELF
• 4Home offers exactly what Home Assistant says a device supports: on and off, brightness, colours, warm to daylight whites, effects, covers up and down, scenes, buttons, numbers and heating.
• Scenes that Home Assistant links to a light are shown with that light.
• Give any device the name you call it.
• When something doesn't work, 4Home says why: Home Assistant not answering, a device without power, or a device no longer in Home Assistant.
SHORTCUTS
• Long-press the 4Home icon for your shortcuts, or add up to four Quick Settings tiles.
• Make your own shortcuts with a value, such as a light at 30 %.
• Your Home Assistant dashboards, one tap away.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS AND GESTURES, WITH 4ZONES
With 4Zones (free on Google Play), any state you make a link becomes a keyboard shortcut or a one-handed gesture: "Desk up" on Ctrl+Shift+U, "Desk down" on Ctrl+Shift+D. No extra permissions for 4Home.
• You choose which states are links, so 4Zones shows only the ones you want.
VOICE, WITH 4DICTATE
With 4Dictate (sold separately) you say it: "Desk up", "Hall 30 %", "Bedroom warm white", "Bedroom relax". The command runs on the phone, in under a second.
• Only the devices you offer to voice can be reached.
• A device set to "always ask" asks you first.
BACKUP
• Save your setup to a file, restore it, or keep an automatic copy in a folder you choose. Your token is never in it.
REQUIRES Android 13 or later, and your own Home Assistant with a long-lived access token.
4Home is not made by, or affiliated with, Home Assistant or the Open Home Foundation.
