Two lists: what to do and what to get. No account, no sign-up, works offline.
do&get keeps two lists: things you have to do, and things you have to get. That is all it does. No account, no sign-up. Your lists live in one small file on your phone and never leave it. The app is free and shows a small ad banner at the bottom of the screen.
DO
- Type a task and it is on the list. The keyboard stays open, so you can add five in a row.
- Tap a task to write a longer description: an account number, a reference, whatever you need to remember.
- Put a date on it and it shows on the line, turning red once it has passed.
- One button hands the task to your calendar app with everything already filled in.
GET
- Every item belongs to a category, and you decide how precise that is. "Supermarket" when it does not matter where you buy it, a shop name when it does.
- Standing in the hardware store? Tap that category and the groceries disappear from view.
- Thirteen categories are ready to go. Rename them, reorder them, add your own.
BOTH LISTS
- Swipe left to delete, with a moment to undo.
- Checked items move to the bottom, struck through, until you clear them.
- Dictate a whole list at once: "milk bread bananas" becomes three separate lines.
- Share a list through any messaging app. The other person shares the message back into do&get and picks what to take over.
NOTHING YOU DID NOT ASK FOR
No account. No tracking of your lists. The only permission the app uses is internet access, and only for the ad banner. Your lists themselves work in flight mode, in the basement of the supermarket, anywhere. In the EU you choose whether ads may be personalised.
Available in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Portuguese.
