YardWyre Field

YardWyre Field is the phone app for the people who work a salvage yard: the yard hand booking cars in, the puller with a list of parts to find, and the driver taking them to customers. It works on the yard system you already run. YardWyre connects to your Hollander Powerlink or AIM database, and the app reads and writes those same records. There is no second inventory to keep, and nothing typed twice. An account is required. YardWyre Field is for staff of yards that use YardWyre: your employer creates your login and decides which screens you see. There is no sign-up in the app. WHAT YOU CAN DO Scan: find a part from its tag and put photographs of it onto that part. Scan the tag with the camera or type the number, shoot a run of photos or pick them from the phone, and they upload while you scan the next part. Move: move parts onto new shelves one after another. Scan the part, scan the location, and the move is recorded. Engines: file an engine onto a shelf slot. Scan the engine, scan the shelf, pick a slot. Book in: book a car in from its VIN. Scan the VIN barcode or photograph the plate, decode it, and the car is created with a stock number. Then add its parts and photos. Look up: search the yard for a part by stock number, part number, description or year and model, and read back its price, the car it came off, its location and quantity. VIN stock: check what the yard already holds for one exact car, read from its VIN, without creating anything. Orders and Delivery: look up work orders and delivery tickets by number or customer. Photos: find the pictures taken of a part as it was pulled, by order, ticket, stock number or part number. Pulls: your list of parts to pull, with where each one is and how it ships. Answer the picking checklist, add a condition note and photos, and mark each part pulled. Route: your delivery run for today, stop by stop. Mark Arrived, record what the customer paid, take their signature and proof-of-delivery photos, then Delivered or Couldn't. Reorder stops as you drive. BUILT FOR THE YARD Works with a weak signal: photos, scans and signatures taken without a signal wait on the phone and send themselves when it comes back. Notifications: get told about new orders and parts assigned to you to pull. Location for drivers: while a driver has deliveries left today, the app shares the phone's location with dispatch, including in the background if the driver allows it, so the run can be followed on the map. It stops by itself when every stop is recorded, at midnight, or when the driver signs out. Staff with no delivery route are never asked for location. No advertising, and no tracking.
