Ice Fishing

Ice Fishing is an offline tool for applying literal find and replace changes to plain text. You decide which occurrences change, and your original text stays intact while you work. The app moves through three tabs. Text holds your original source, Matches holds the search term and replacement, and Output shows the result. You can type your own text or load the bundled example. Searching is literal and case-sensitive, with no regular expressions. Each occurrence is listed with its position and surrounding text, so you can check it before deciding. Tick only the matches you want to change. Output previews the full result of your selected substitutions and copies it to the clipboard when you ask. Leaving the replacement field empty deletes the selected matches instead. Drafts stay in the session until you explicitly save them. Saved operations are kept locally, where you can open, edit or delete them after a confirmation. Ice Fishing needs no account and works offline.
