The Queens game: one star per row, column and region. Daily, 2,000 levels.
Place a star in every row, every column and every coloured region, and never let two stars touch, not even at the corners. That is the whole rule. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you can always reach it by reasoning alone, never by guessing. The puzzle is also known as Queens, Star Battle and Two Not Touch.
A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY
The same daily puzzle for everyone, with a streak to keep, and every fifth daily earns a streak freeze for a day you miss. It works offline, so a train tunnel is no excuse.
2,000 LEVELS, THEN STAR BATTLE
Start with quick 5×5 grids and work up to fiendish 11×11 ones. Then try Star Battle, the classic for experts: two stars in every row, column and region.
HINTS THAT TEACH
Stuck? A hint first shows you where to look. Ask again and it explains the reasoning in plain words, with the cells it is about lit up. You learn the moves instead of being handed the answer.
A SKY THAT FILLS AS YOU SOLVE
Every puzzle you solve for the first time lights a real star in your sky. Find all 88 constellations, then fill the night star by star, more than 5,000 in all. Turn the sky with a finger and tap a star to learn its name.
CALM BY DESIGN
No lives, no energy, no timers that punish you. Play at your own pace, hide the clock, undo any move, and let crosses fill in by themselves if you like.
EASY ON EVERY PAIR OF EYES
A high contrast theme, a pattern in every region for colour blind players, and a switch that keeps everything still if you prefer no motion.
