Easy origami instructions: 28 models, every fold animated, works offline
Creasebird gives you easy origami instructions you can follow with paper in your hands. It holds 28 traditional models, each drawn as a clear diagram with every step animated, so you see how each fold moves before you make it. Nine models are free from the first fold to the last; the other 19 come with Pro.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a model: start with a free one like the crane, fox face or paper airplane, or open a Pro model such as the paper boat, masu box or jumping frog.
2. Watch the step fold itself on screen, then fold your own sheet.
3. Tap Next, press a volume button, or let the steps play on their own.
EVERY FOLD ANIMATED
Each diagram is calculated by a folding engine, one step after another, so no step is skipped and every model is drawn the same way. A short 2.5D animation shows the flap turning over the crease. Tap the drawing to replay it.
THE SYMBOLS FOLDERS USE
Valley folds are dashed lines and mountain folds are dash-dot lines, the standard marks found in folding books. A Symbols page explains each mark with its own animation, and the Basic folds lessons teach the bases that many models start from.
HANDS-FREE MODE
Your hands are full of paper, so you can move on without aiming at a button:
• Volume up for the next step, volume down to go back
• Tap the right half of the screen for next, the left half for back
• Auto-play a new step every 5, 8 or 12 seconds
• The screen stays on while a model is open
NO ADS ON THE STEP SCREEN
Ads never appear while you fold. Free users see a small banner in the Library and, from the second model on, a full-screen ad after a model's Done screen.
MODELS FOR EVERY LEVEL
Six categories: Birds, Animals, Flowers, Boxes and useful things, Toys that move, and Hats and wearables. Each model is marked Easy, Medium or Harder with its number of steps, so you can start with a paper cup and work up to a samurai helmet. Only traditional models are included. The 9 free models open right away; the 19 Pro models carry a Pro badge in the Library.
PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Progress is saved for every model, so Continue takes you back to the step you stopped on. Mark favorites and see everything you finished in My folds.
WORKS OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT
All models live inside the app: no internet, no sign-up, nothing to download later. Dark mode follows your phone, while the diagram stays on a light background so every line is easy to read.
FREE AND PRO
Free: 9 models with every step, the 5 basic-fold lessons, the symbols, the animations and hands-free mode, plus progress, favorites and offline use. Creasebird Pro opens all 28 models, including the paper boat, pinwheel, masu box (a classic origami box), jumping frog, lotus, fortune teller and flapping bird. Pro also removes ads and adds slow-motion animation at half speed with loop, 8 paper colors for the diagrams, and printable practice sheets. Pay once for lifetime, choose yearly with a 7-day free trial, or monthly, on Google Play. Users 13 and older can also unlock Pro for 24 hours, every model included, by watching 2 short videos.
FOR BEGINNERS AND FAMILIES
If you want to learn how to make origami, this is a calm origami step by step guide for adults who want a quiet hobby, parents who fold together with children, and teachers. It also works as origami for kids: steps are short, the words are simple, and nothing interrupts a fold.
