CounterTalk: Shop Interpreter

A clearer conversation at your counter. CounterTalk helps people talk face to face in shops, salons, restaurants and other small businesses. Speak naturally and read the translation on screen. Choose from 16 languages, including Korean, English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese. The app display language follows your device, or you can choose it in Settings. MADE FOR TWO PEOPLE Use Phone mode for a quick conversation. On a tablet, Counter mode gives each person a readable side of the screen. Choose face-to-face or side-by-side layouts and swap sides to suit your counter. TEXT FIRST Translations appear as text. Optional reading aloud uses voices available on your device. Adjust the text size and use light, dark or high-contrast appearance. YOUR CHOICES Text history is off by default. Turn it on when you want to keep a conversation on your device, then share it as a CSV file or delete it. Report an incorrect translation only after choosing to share that line for review. Print a counter sign to help inform customers. BEFORE YOU START Live interpretation requires internet access and available interpreting time. Audio is sent to OpenAI after you consent. CounterTalk does not save audio recordings; provider processing and retention terms apply. Start with five free minutes without signing in. An active membership is required to buy and use additional top-up time; unused top-ups stay banked after membership expires. Sign in to use the same membership and remaining time on another phone or tablet. Add and translate your own quick phrases. Send a bug report or feature request from Settings; optional voice dictation lets you edit the text before sending it to our private support inbox. Subscription and top-up details, localized prices and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Manage or cancel a subscription through your app store. Deleting CounterTalk data does not cancel a store subscription. AI translations may contain mistakes. Do not rely on CounterTalk for medical, legal or emergency communication.
