Passport photo preparation starts with the size your document needs. Passport Photo+ helps you turn a camera image or an existing portrait into an ID or visa photo, review the framing and prepare a file or print sheet. Choose a country and document preset as a starting point, then compare it with the receiving authority's current instructions. PREPARE YOUR PHOTO Take a picture or choose one image from your gallery. Presets define the photo's width and height in millimetres and its export resolution. Face detection helps position the crop; if detection is unavailable, a centre crop provides a starting point for your own adjustments. Move the framing, zoom and straighten the portrait while checking the preview. BACKGROUND AND FRAMING Background removal attempts to separate the subject so you can choose a solid background colour. Results depend on the image and available device modules: if removal fails, the original image remains. Check the edges, hair and background yourself. The review panel uses heuristic checks for details such as head size, centring and open eyes. Infant mode changes some tolerances; it does not override an authority's rules. FILES AND PRINT SHEETS Save the finished photo or open the sharing options. Create a print sheet when you need several copies on a page. Some document presets also offer digital export sizes. Where a file-size target is defined, compression attempts to meet it and may show a warning if it cannot. Check both the resulting dimensions and the upload portal's limits before sending a file. WHEN TO USE IT Prepare a draft photo for a passport renewal, visa application or ID document. Use the crop and preview to compare portraits before making a print sheet. A clear original image gives you more useful material to work with; editing cannot repair every lighting, pose or image-quality problem. LIMITS AND ACCESS Is a positive check an acceptance guarantee? No. These are preparation aids, not official validation, and requirements can change. Check the authority's rules on photo age, retouching, background and printing. Camera and photo access are used for taking, choosing and saving images. The app contains advertising and sends Firebase Analytics events; network services are used for ads and configuration. Some optional adjustments are unlocked through rewarded advertising.

Background removal works again. A mismatched update to Google's on-device segmentation library made the app close the instant you removed a background; the whole stack is now pinned to one tested combination. Also fixes a startup crash seen on some devices and reduces memory growth when the app stays open a long time.
