Throw the sticks, cheer Yut and Mo, race your mal home! Yut Nori reimagined.
Throw four sticks. Yut! Mo! Take the shortcut and race your mal home.
Yut Play is a bright, cute and social take on Yut Nori (윷놀이), the board game Korean families play at Seollal, the Lunar New Year.
● THROW & CHEER — Count the flat sides: Do, Gae, Geol, Yut, Mo. Yut and Mo give another throw, and so does every capture.
● SHORTCUTS & PIGGY-BACKS — Stop exactly on a corner or the centre to cut across the board. Stack your mal and they move together — big risks, bigger swings.
● UNLIMITED LEVELS — 20 hand-made levels with a gentle tutorial, then endless festival boards. A champion boss every fifth level.
● FESTIVAL TWISTS — Lanterns, tigers and magpies on the board; fog, mirror sticks, double Yut and more.
● BOONS & CHARMS — Pick Lucky Mo, Iron Stack or Crane after each win. Upgrade 24 permanent charms with Yeopjeon coins and climb from Villager to Village Chief.
● DAILY CHALLENGE — The same seeded board for everyone, every day. Keep your streak!
● PARTY & TEAMS — Pass-and-play for 2–4 players or 2v2 teams; bots fill empty seats. Online play arrives in v1.1.
● FOR EVERYONE — Colour-blind-safe pieces, large text, reduce motion, VoiceOver / TalkBack labels.
Fair and friendly: ads never cover the board, reward videos are always optional, and one purchase removes banner and full-screen ads for good.
Our rules follow common modern descriptions of Yut Nori; Back-do is an optional variant and festival tiles are our own twist. Qaimos is not affiliated with any museum or institution.
