Pit Lane

Pit Lane keeps a Formula 1 season within reach of one thumb. On the home screen a large timer counts down to the next race, names the Grand Prix, sketches the track, and lists the weekend sessions so you know what is on before the lights go out. Walk the calendar from the first round to the last. Past events are dimmed and show the winner. Upcoming rounds stay clear. Results tables cover position, driver, team, the time or the gap, and the points, with tabs for qualifying, the grand prix, and the sprint. The championship view switches between the drivers' title and the constructors' title. Team colors run along each row so the order is easy to scan. Open a driver to see the race number, the team, season points and visits to the podium, and a chart of positions across the rounds already run. When you want the detail under the result, lap analysis draws times for a few chosen drivers and flags the laps that left the pits. Pit Lane is a timing screen and a record book, built for the hour before a session and the hour after the flag.
