TEN MISSIONS, THREE KINGDOMS • Ozubam: wake the stone Watchers, cross the Forest of Whispers and slip past the Forgetful King's golden hounds. • Kano: trade your way to a catapult in the old market, free the indigo dye pits and escape along the city wall. • Old Oyo: answer the talking drums, free the cavalry horses before the gold sets, and break the Locust Giant. • The Reading: face the Gilded Emperor's Shadow and read the tales aloud. PUZZLES THAT MAKE YOU THINK Find the fake gold coin in two weighings. Pick the one true saying among three caskets. Light the spirit's lamps, set the gate gears, crack the dyer's riddle and repeat the drummer's pattern. Stuck? The griot whispers a clue. TOOLS, NOT WEAPONS Nduka never hurts anyone.
