A chore chart for couples: cleaning, groceries and meals, one owner per job.
Lyven helps couples share the household chores and the grocery list. Every job gets one owner, so the split stays fair without a scoreboard.
Decide together who owns which household chores. Then the home runs on both of you, not on whoever remembers first.
HOW THE SPLIT WORKS
• One owner, always. Every job has a single person who carries it, not a roster that hands the mental load back and forth. Someone can step in for a night; ownership never moves.
• Fair isn't 50/50. We weight every job by the time and effort it really takes, then show you the balance. 60/40 can be exactly right for you. It's a picture you choose together, never a scoreboard.
• It doesn't slide back. Groceries, meals and the week ahead keep ownership exactly where you put it.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• The Sunday check-in. Ten minutes together at the end of the week. Each of you writes how you're really doing and one thing you appreciated. Neither shows until you've both written, so no one just reacts to the other. Then you plan the week in one sitting: dinners, who's out, what's coming up.
• The deck. Every household job is a card with one clear owner and a shared definition of done.
• Living lists. A shared grocery list in sync on both phones. Shop several lists in one trip, each keeping its owner.
• Meals to list. Plan the week's meals and the ingredients go straight onto your shopping list.
• Gentle nudges. A quiet heads-up when something's due or the check-in's open.
Bigger jobs break into steps you can share, while one person holds the thread.
HOW IT'S DIFFERENT FROM A CHORE APP
Unlike a shared to-do list or a chore tracker, Lyven doesn't just remind whoever's turn it is. The person who owns a job does the noticing as well as the doing. There are no points, no rotation and no competition between partners. The split stays wired into how you run your home, so household chores don't quietly drift back onto one person.
WHO IT'S FOR
Couples running a busy home on two careers, often with young kids. When both people work, running the home lands on whoever notices first. Lyven makes sure it's shared on purpose.
