SubBag Bag

SubBag is an offline-first substitute-teacher bag checklist for day-to-day subs who must pack and run a period-by-period folder before the bell. Cold start opens your active bag checklist: night-before pack rows with large one-tap done ticks that persist locally. A period strip (custom P1–P8 or block schedule) opens each period folder card so you can finish roster notes, seating layout text, and emergency card fields—then tick the block ready. Every period folder includes: • Roster notes • Seating layout text • Emergency card (nurse, exit, allergies note) • Period-done tick when that block is set Build a reusable pack-item library (badge, keys, sub plans printout, water, snacks, sticky notes, pens) with drag-order and seed defaults. Create an assignment day shell with school name, grade band, date, and which periods are active. Quick-copy your last-day pack list and last-used period folder templates into a new assignment so setup stays fast. Progress chips on the bag surface show packed count / total and periods ready / total. End-of-day clear or archive keeps past assignment days without cluttering the active bag. Local search finds a name or room detail across roster notes and emergency fields. Preferences cover default period count, optional in-app tick sound, and compact vs roomy checklist density. Everything stays on device—no account required for core packing flow. SubBag is a pack-and-period readiness tool, not a lesson planner or gradebook. Know the bag is packed and every period folder is ticked before you walk into a strange classroom.
