Food Scanner – PureScan

PureScan helps you understand what is in your food and cosmetic products. Scan a barcode to look a product up, or photograph its ingredients list, and get an AI score, flagged ingredients, personal warnings based on your diet and allergy choices, and alternatives that respect those choices. Nothing is sent for AI analysis until you agree, and photos are deleted from our servers after 7 days. WHAT YOU GET • Live barcode scanning: point the camera at a barcode to look the product up in Open Food Facts or Open Beauty Facts • Photo of the ingredients list as a fallback • AI score from 0 to 100 for every product you scan • Flagged ingredients, each with a plain-language explanation • Personal warnings based on your choices: vegan, gluten free, halal, palm oil free, low sugar, diabetes, pregnancy, baby products and common allergens • Alternatives that respect your diet and allergy choices • AI assistant chat for follow-up questions about a scanned product, with a notice that it is not medical advice • Scan history and saved products, so you can compare later • Your scan history photos are kept on your device • Your privacy choice: clear consent before anything is sent to AI, and you can turn this off in Settings • Available in 33 languages FOOD AND BEAUTY Use PureScan for groceries, snacks, drinks, skincare, makeup, haircare and baby products. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan a barcode for a product lookup, or take a photo of the ingredient list 2. PureScan looks the product up in Open Food Facts or Open Beauty Facts, or reads the ingredients from your photo, then analyzes them with AI. If a photo does not show an ingredients list, PureScan asks you to retake it or scan the barcode instead of guessing. 3. Review the score, flagged ingredients, personal warnings and alternatives PREMIUM Free scans are limited. PureScan Premium unlocks unlimited scans and is available as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription are also in the app's Settings. IMPORTANT PureScan provides general information to help you make choices. Results are generated by AI and may contain mistakes; always check the label and consult a healthcare professional about allergies or health conditions.
