ArenaPlus's Ball Dodge introduces balls of different sizes within the same session. The presence of both standard and large balls requires you to parse not just direction and quantity but also size when reading the screen, adding a visual layer to the threat assessment. Large balls require more clearance to dodge safely. What appears to be a sufficient distance from a ball's trajectory may be a contact zone for a large ball, making quick size identification part of the evasion process. Standard and large balls are mixed in the incoming stream as the session progresses. Early sessions contain mostly standard balls; larger ones appear more frequently as difficulty escalates, coinciding with higher speed and greater count. Visual parsing, the ability to quickly assess which incoming balls are large and route your dodge to give them more room, becomes a trainable skill. Players who develop the habit of scanning for large balls and adjusting clearance accordingly make fewer mistakes in dense, high-speed sections. The size variation also affects which power-ups are most useful. The magnet repulsion effect works the same on all ball sizes, but the shield absorbs one hit regardless of the ball's size.
