Each side has five balls and a hole to aim for, with chrome bumpers guarding the middle of the cloth. How to play 1. Tap one of your cherry-red balls to pick it. There is no cue ball: you strike your own balls directly. 2. Drag to aim, set the power and shoot towards the hole at the far end. The regular aims for the hole at your end. 3. Use the bumpers. They kick a ball back slightly faster than it arrived, so bank around them or off them. 4. Sink one of yours and you shoot again. A ball that drops in the wrong hole goes back on its spot. 5. First to sink all five wins the match. Progression takes you through eight diners in town, each with its own regular and bumper layout. It starts at Lou's Corner, where Lou offers coffee if you win, and moves through Starlite Diner, Rocket Grill, The Jukebox and Atomic Café to The Silver Spoon, where Doc has owned the table since '59. Each regular is sharper than the last, all of them are proven winnable, and a victory opens the next diner.
