Hold the charge and release when the notch lines up
Beaxiver Strike is a river timing test. Hold to build a charge, then release when the marker sits inside the notch. Let the charge fill all the way and the strike is a miss. Line up enough clean chops before the misses run out. The notch tightens as the river gets rougher.
What you can do
- Hold to charge and release to chop
- Land the release inside the notch
- Avoid a full overcharge
- Slow the charge, widen the notch, or keep a spare miss
- Work back through dams you have opened
- Mute the river from the dials
Patience beats mashing. The notch is moving, and a full bar is not a prize.
