Check an Excel EPC list against tags read by an AIRSTANDARD Air73 reader.
Excel Load Demo (BT) shows a checklist-style RFID inspection: load the list of tags you expect from an Excel file, read tags with an AIRSTANDARD Air73 Bluetooth reader, and see at a glance which listed tags were found, which are missing and which were not on the list. Use it to demonstrate receiving, stock checks or shipment verification against a prepared list.
IMPORTANT: This app requires AIRSTANDARD Air73 hardware. The Air73 is a Bluetooth UHF RFID reader (sled) without its own screen; this app runs on your Android phone (Android 8.0 or later with Bluetooth) and controls the Air73 over classic Bluetooth (SPP). Without an Air73 the app can search for readers but cannot read tags.
Connecting
1. Turn on the Air73 (unplug the USB data cable; Bluetooth is disabled while it is connected).
2. Open the app, allow Nearby devices and tap Search, or pick a reader from the previously connected list.
3. Confirm the connection. The app opens the Excel check screen directly.
Checking a list
- Load Excel: pick an .xlsx or .xls file with the system file picker. Column A holds the EPCs (first row is a header). Every EPC is listed in file order before reading starts.
- Start an inventory with the on-screen button or the Air73 trigger. Each listed tag turns green as it is read.
- Tags that are not on the list appear in a separate "not listed" section below.
- Counters next to the file name show Matched / List / Not listed. Tags with or without the PC word are matched either way.
- Save: export the result as an .xls file to a location you choose, one row per listed EPC with a Read (Y/N) column, read count and RSSI.
- The usual inventory tools remain: RF power, sorting and filter options, selection mask, tag trace and clear.
- Available in English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
What this app does not do
It does not write, lock or read tag memory and does not scan barcodes. Plain inventory without a list, saving with user and reader names, and connecting by MAC address are covered by other AIRSTANDARD demo apps, each published separately.
Permissions and privacy
- Nearby devices (Android 12 and later): to search for and connect to the Air73. Declared as not used to derive location.
- Location (Android 11 and earlier only): those Android versions require it for Bluetooth device search. The app never reads your location.
- Wi-Fi state: read by the reader connection library while preparing the device search; no Wi-Fi connection is made.
- Vibration and wake lock: feedback and keeping the device awake during work.
The app has no internet permission and does not collect or transmit any data. Excel files are only read from, and saved to, locations you choose through the system file picker. The list of previously connected readers stays on your phone.
