Background Recorder Pro - Cam

Background Recorder Pro keeps recording video with your phone's camera while the screen is off or while you use other apps. Record lectures and meetings, document your work, capture bike rides and walks, or film for hours while saving battery. Start in one tap from a home screen widget, a Quick Settings tile or the notification. A notification is always shown while recording. Please respect the privacy of people around you and follow local laws. KEY FEATURES ■ Screen off or other apps: recording continues Recording runs as a foreground service, so it keeps going when you turn the screen off, go home or open any other app. No need to keep the screen on, which saves battery and heat on long recordings. ■ One-tap start and stop Use Start recording in the app, the home screen widget, the Quick Settings tile, the app icon shortcuts or the notification buttons to start, pause and stop. On the camera screen, Record in background takes you home while recording continues. Optional countdown and auto return to the home screen after starting. ■ Built for long recordings • Split files every few minutes (10 by default), so earlier footage is safe. • Auto recovery when another app takes the camera or the camera reports an error. • Heat protection: lowers quality instead of stopping when the phone gets hot. • Battery limit: stops and saves below the level you choose, never while charging. • Storage watch: stops and tells you before storage runs out. ■ Pause, timer and loop recording Pause and resume at any time. The timer stops recording after the time you set. Loop recording removes the oldest videos when the storage limit is reached, but keeps videos you saved or exported. ■ Camera, quality and audio Front or back camera, switchable during recording. 1080p at 30fps, audio on or off, auto, portrait or landscape orientation, and stabilization on supported phones. ■ Date and time stamp Burn the date and time into your video. ■ Your videos Browse, filter, play at 0.5x to 2x, skip 10 seconds, share, save to the gallery, rename and delete. Finished videos can move to the gallery automatically, so they stay even if you uninstall the app. SD card storage is supported. ■ App lock and status check Lock the app with your fingerprint, face or PIN, and hide its content in recent apps. A status check lists permissions, battery optimization and storage, and lets you fix them right away. PREMIUM FEATURES • Scheduled recording: start time, length and repeat (daily, weekdays, weekends, chosen days or once). Starts on time even with the screen off. • 4K, 60fps and bitrate choice on supported phones • Torch, night mode, exposure, zoom and focus lock • Custom stamp text and position • Trim and join videos without re-encoding • Floating preview window over other apps • Colorful themes HOW TO USE 1. Allow camera, microphone and notifications when asked. 2. Tap Start recording, or use the widget, tile or shortcut. 3. Turn the screen off or switch apps; recording continues. 4. Stop from the notification or the home tab and find your video in the Videos tab. PRICING Recording, background recording, one-tap start, split files, auto recovery, app lock and the other core features are free forever, with no recording time limit.
