CertAlert - License Tracker

Missed a renewal and had to skip a shift? CertAlert is the license and certification tracker that warns you weeks ahead of expiration, so one forgotten date stops costing you a contract, a route, or a flight. ━━━ Why Paper and Calendars Fall Short ━━━ Calendar reminders fade, renewal rules change, and you juggle five, ten, or twenty credentials on different clocks. A lapsed CDL takes you off the road. An expired nursing license triggers suspension. An out-of-date visa stops you at the border. These are not ordinary reminders — your livelihood rides on them. ━━━ How CertAlert Works ━━━ Open the app and the dashboard leads with a hero card for your next credential to expire — the one date that matters most, front and center with the days remaining. Below it, everything is color-coded by urgency: red for expired, orange within 30 days, blue within 90, green for valid. New to the app? A friendly empty state walks you through your first entry. Tap Quick Add to log a credential in seconds — just a name and an expiration date — and fill in renewal cost, notes, and photos whenever you like. ━━━ Reminders That Give You Time to Act ━━━ Every new credential gets a reminder automatically, using the default you choose in Settings. If the reminder date has already passed, none is scheduled. Add more at 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180, or 365 days before expiration. With Pro, stack several alerts on one credential: a 90-day heads-up to start paperwork, a 30-day check-in, a 7-day final nudge. Background checks, continuing education, and application processing all take time — CertAlert hands you that time in advance. ━━━ Every Credential Covered ━━━ Anything with an expiration date that affects your work or travel. • Healthcare: nursing and physician licenses, DEA, BLS/ACLS, board certifications • Transportation: CDL, DOT medical cards, hazmat, TWIC, pilot certificates • Trades: contractor, electrician, plumbing, HVAC, OSHA 10/30, welding • IT: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CompTIA, CISSP, PMP, Cisco • Travel: passports, work visas, residence permits, international driving permits • Finance & real estate: real estate license, mortgage broker, CPA, CFA, insurance producer • Safety: first aid, CPR, confined space, fall protection, ISO auditor ━━━ Know What Renewals Cost You ━━━ Exam fees, application fees, continuing education, background checks — across many credentials, renewal spending adds up fast. CertAlert records the cost of each credential and totals it by year. With Pro, compare one year with the next and plan your budget with real numbers. When you record a renewal, CertAlert suggests the next expiry date on the same cycle and reschedules your reminders. It also estimates what your renewals will cost over the next 12 months. ━━━ Your Data, On Your Device ━━━ Everything is stored locally. Your credentials, photos, and records stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. Purchases are handled by Google Play and our subscription service, and the optional Pro cloud backup goes to your own Google Drive. It all belongs to you. Export an encrypted backup any time. ━━━ CertAlert Pro ━━━ Free covers up to five credentials, one reminder each, and one photo per credential. Pro unlocks the rest: add as many credentials as you need, multiple reminders per credential, up to 10 photos each, annual cost charts, PDF reports and CSV export, automatic Google Drive cloud backup, and custom categories. Switch phones or lose a device and restore everything from your backup. ━━━ Download CertAlert ━━━ Your credentials represent years of study, training, and expense. One expired date shouldn't undo that. CertAlert keeps your credentials and deadlines in one place and schedules reminders well in advance. Add your credentials, set your reminders, and stop letting an expiration catch you off guard.

CertAlert v1.1.1 • New credentials get a reminder automatically (set the default in Settings). The home screen shows any credential without one. • Recording a renewal now updates the expiry date and reschedules reminders. • Notifications appear in your language, and amounts like 1,500 save correctly. • Backups are now protected by your passphrase. With the same Google account, Google Drive restores skip it. • The details screen shows all photos at once. Thank you for using the app.
