Swing a brass claw over lava and haul up sinking stones before the fuse ends.
Swing a brass claw over lava and haul up sinking stones before the fuse ends.
Full Description
A teal salamander in brass goggles runs a little wooden crane on the rim of a volcano. Below the crane the crater is full of glowing lava, and the lava is full of stones. Your job is to fish them out.
One tap is all it takes. The claw swings back and forth on its tether like a pendulum; tap anywhere and it drops along the line it is pointing at. It grabs the first stone it touches and the salamander cranks it back up. Light pumice flies up in a blink, a geode takes a moment, and a heavy obsidian crystal makes the winch groan.
The twist: every stone is slowly sinking. The lava has three belts, and a stone grabbed in the second belt counts double, in the deepest belt triple. Waiting pays, but not forever — anything that reaches the bottom melts away. Watch out for grumpy lumps of hot slag drifting among the stones: grab one and it burns five seconds off your fuse.
Each crater gives you sixty seconds and a quota to fill. Reach it and the crater is cleared; beat it by a wide margin for a second and third star. Clearing a crater opens the next one on the route down into the volcano — fifteen craters in all, each a little faster, busier and hotter than the one before.
What is inside:
- one-tap controls that are easy to learn and hard to master
- fifteen craters with quotas, stars and a best score for every crater
- a crater route map that shows how deep you have gone and how many stones you have hauled
- short synthesized sound cues and light vibration, both switchable in Tuning
- a progress wipe that always asks before it clears anything
- a short illustrated guide that explains the rules in three lines
Pumice Tether works fully offline. There are no ads, no purchases and no accounts — just you, the salamander and a crater full of stones.
