Everything stays on your phone. Pay once. ■ Good to know first · It does not drive any bending machine. It calculates where to mark. · 90° take-up differs by bender and conduit size, so there is no table of it. Measure once with your own bender and keep it in My benders (the measuring calculator is in the app). Only EMT ½″, ¾″ and 1″ come with common values, clearly labeled as varying by bender. · Marks are referenced to the bender arrow (▲). Offsets and saddles use the standard field formulas (sharp-corner model), so the real bend radius can cause a difference of a few mm. · Material take-off is an estimate from the lengths you enter. It does not do drawing quantities, quotes or prices. Stick length, waste factor, couplings and saddle spacing are defaults you can change; follow your site spec if it differs. · Cable tray fabrication is not included yet. ■ Calculations (inches in 1/16″ fractions, or mm) · Offset: height and angle (10°, 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° or custom) give the spacing (height × cosec θ) and shrink (height × tan(θ/2)). Add the distance from the pipe end to the obstacle to get marks 1 and 2 including shrink · 3-point saddle: center 45° with 22.5° sides (or 60°/30°, 30°/15°), center and outer marks, shrink to center and total. For wide obstacles the peak is raised so the legs clear the corner. A field rule of thumb (× 2.5 · 3/16) is selectable · 4-point saddle: obstacle height and width give marks 1 to 4 and shrink · 90° stub-up: stub height − take-up = mark · Back-to-back 90°, kick, and large-radius bends split into segments If the obstacle is too close to the pipe end or the height is below the take-up, the screen tells you right away. ■ The pipe bends on screen, with a marking ruler A steel conduit drawing bends to the calculated angle, spacing and height, with the obstacle, angles and dimensions. The marking ruler below shows a straight pipe with a tape laid along it; numbers and colors match the result rows. ■ Site materials: sticks to buy, where to cut Enter a piece length and quantity when you add a bend, and a site name, conduit size, straight run and fittings per job. The site screen then shows pipe to buy (bent pieces packed longest first), couplings, fixing saddles, fittings and leftover offcuts, counted separately per size (rigid / thin-wall 3.66 m, EMT 10 ft; stick length can be changed per size). ■ Three PDFs · Job sheet: drawing, marking ruler, numbered marks, piece length and a done box for every bend, plus where to cut · Material take-off: sticks, couplings, saddles, fittings, offcuts, breakdown by section, basis values and signature boxes · Bending log: every bend of the site in one table with done checks CSV export opens in Excel. ■ Jobs and My benders Bends pile up per job, grouped by site.
