Paddle, pixel ball, rainbow bricks and a soft scanline glow. Stage 1 — The paddle: drag a finger to steer, tap to launch, and let the contact point decide the angle of each bounce. Three lives to start, with a pause at any moment. Stage 2 — The bricks: some break in one hit, others need two or three, and steel ones never give way. 24 layouts, such as Chess Night, Big Heart, Ziggurat and Castle Gate, run through four zones from Pixel Park and Neon Alley to Chrome City and Void Tower. Stage 3 — The capsules: W widens the paddle for a short spell, M sends two extra balls into play at once, and S slows everything down for a while. Stage 4 — The stars: clear a board with no life lost for three, lose one and take two, and every life left over adds to the score. 72 stars wait across the campaign. Stage 5 — Rush mode: fresh rows keep dropping, the pace keeps rising and the red line has to hold. A hi-score table lists recent runs with the record at the head. Extra stage Each run turns points into bits, one for every 25, and the Workshop spends them on permanent upgrades: a wider paddle, a spare ball at the start, longer power-ups and a higher capsule drop rate. Arcade Lore is a quiz on arcade history with three hearts and a 15-second fuse. The scanline effect can be switched off in Setup, and the cabinet plays offline, with no ads.
