See what is on the exact opposite side of the Earth from where you stand.
Stand still for a moment. Somewhere on the other side of the planet there is a point directly beneath your feet, straight through the middle of the Earth. This app shows you where it is.
Tap the button, allow location, and you get two maps. One is you, where you are standing right now. The other is your antipode, the point on the exact opposite side of the globe, with an address for each when there is one to find. Tap either map to open it fullscreen. Under the maps you see what time it is over there right now, and how far it is to get there.
Most of the time the answer is water. The Earth is a lot of ocean, and two thirds of dry land has ocean on the far side, so wherever you happen to be standing there is a good chance your antipode is somewhere in the South Pacific with nothing around it for a thousand kilometres. That is part of the fun. Every so often you get a real place, and those are the ones worth a screenshot.
Your position is never stored and never sent to the developer. There is no account and no sign-up. Anonymous usage counts and crash reports help fix problems, and you can switch them off on the About screen.
Free, with one banner on the result screen.

The result screen now tells you what time it is on the other side of the Earth, and how far it is to get there. A new About screen has links to our other apps and a switch for anonymous usage data and crash reports, which never include your position. Also a cleaner app icon, with a themed version for Android 13 and later.
